If your clients are open to it, stablecoins can cut cost and speed up payments but make sure both sides understand the tax and compliance requirements first.

Indian freelancer getting paid from us and eu clients, so speaking from the receiving side. Crypto at your scale is more headache than its worth, mostly at tax time. You still have to explain where the money came from and that paperwork is worse than a wire. Wise is the boring correct answer. Payoneer if your clients would rather pay into a local account in their own country, a lot of us clients will happily do an ach to a payoneer us account because it feels domestic to them, and thats usually the real blocker not the fee. What cut my wait most wasnt the rail though, it was invoices that dont bounce. Wrong or missing purpose code on the sender side held up more of my payments than fees ever cost me.

Would it not make more sense to get an account with someone like Stripe and take card payments?

Get yourself setup for credit cards. Crypto only works if your suppliers/vendors will in turn take crypto. If you try to off-ramp from crypto more than a token amount you’ll end up on the receiving end of a compliance nightmare from your bank.
