I'm looking for recommendations for a good mid-tower case

Right now I have a Zalman S2, and it's been an absolute nightmare. It's literally impossible to remove the top panel or the PSU. On top of that, the USB 3.0 header blocks the mounting spot for a fan under the GPU. The whole layout is just terrible. I have fairly thin fingers, but every time I need to upgrade or replace something inside the case, I end up scraping my hands to the point they're covered in cuts. Can anyone recommend a case that's actually pleasant to build and work in? Good airflow is important, but I don't care about RGB or flashy aesthetics at all—I prefer a clean, minimalist design. Should I stick with a mid-tower, or is it worth moving to a full tower just for the extra space and easier cable management?
