Hi all, I recently got the United explorer card in April 2026 for the elevated SUB. I'm looking to add the United quest card soon and was wondering what the best strategy is. Ideally, I would like to get a SUB for the quest but that would mean I'd have to PC my current card to Gateway and wait until April 2028 to get the quest card to be eligible (please correct me if my understanding is incorrect). I'd like to get the card soon though so I'm leaning towards PCing it April 2027. Lmk what you guys think the best strategy is.

Aren't SUB rules per card, unless they've changed that super recently? So you can get the Quest anytime since you haven't had that before. If you want another Explorer SUB, you'd have to cancel/downgrade and then wait 24 months from your last Explorer SUB.
