I just moved into a new apartment. I first ran a cleaning cycle with specialized cleaner, it finished this cycle normally. Then I ran a cycle with a load of dishes. It kept pumping, and the timer remained stuck on 15 minutes. I’ve cleaned the filters, these had a sort of slimy film in them. I’ve poked around the drain hole as well. That’s all the technical know how I unleashed on this thing. Video attached where there’s a little water spout visible? At some point I turned it off, and there was a layer of water remaining. It kept draining with the door open. At some point there was a layer of water almost to the top of the drain hole, then it drained all the way down to the level you see in the video. I have no clue about any of this and my brain is completely fried from exhaustion and stress, please explain it to me like I’m five. Thank you very much.

Flood sensor in the bottom tray is moist with excitement

Right, okay. No clue about anything and I can’t think for the life of me right now. Flood sensor’s underneath this, not visible in the video, right? It’d take taking out the dishwasher to fix this?

Dude you got sober first man, appliance repair isn’t for the weak nor the feint of heart

I agree with this. Mine had the same problem, the styrofoam floater bent with the heat and got stuck in the flood position.
