Volume leveling, smart TV channels into stereo speakers

Hi everyone, So I bought some powered speakers primarily for listening to vinyl. They have and HDMI input which I am connecting to the ARC output on my Smart TV. I am running into volume issues across different channels (Disney,Youtube,HBO, etc.) and I believe this comes down to 5.0 being converted to stereo. I've set every setting I can find to stereo and the issues persist. For example while Youtube sound good around 25 to 30 on volume the channels I am watching movies on need to be around 55 and there is a huge jump in dialogue vs sound effects and music. I am wondering if there is a device that can handle this conversion better and get me some kind of uniformity across the Smart TV channels. Thanks
